Do you charge a fee to provide a quotation?
No, our quotations are done free of charge, on the assumption that, if providing a quotation involves travelling to your premises that your location falls within reasonable distance of our area of operation.
Do you charge a callout fee?

We do not charge a callout fee, but charge an hourly rate based on time and material to attend to call-outs.

Is your work guaranteed?

We do offer an ECA Workmanship Guarantee on request, but we are more than happy to review any client complaints and we won’t leave a client’s premisses, as a rule, until the client is completely satisfied with our workmanship.

Does your equipment come with warrantees?

Most product suppliers provide warrantees on request, but it does not include the labour cost to replace the equipment. Labour cost will be charged to replace faulty equipment, but each case will be evaluated on its own merits.

Can I finance your electrical supply solutions through a third-party service provider?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer such a facility at present.

Do you offer finance options on your proposed solutions?

Other than a 30-day account (only in exceptional circumstances and only if pre-approved) we don’t unfortunately offer any finance options to our clients.

If I am considering an Off-Grid or Grid-Tied electrical supply system, do I need special permission or do I have to complete an application of some kind?

All Alternative Supply Systems need to be applied for at your Local Authority, Municipal or ESKOM, and need to be approved before commencement of the installation.

Do I need to pay you a fee in such instances?

No, this is included in our deposit requirements for each proposal.

Do you require a deposit or down payment on exceptance of your cost proposal?

Yes, depending on the total project value, we will require a deposit payment.

Do you also do standard electrical maintenance and repairs, for example in a normal household?

Yes, our services include both private (domestic) and commercial installations and includes maintenance and repairs.

Are you an experienced service provider?

Yes, our combined work experience, knowledge and industry expertise totals more than 60 years. Having said this, we instill a culture of continuous learning and invest substantial resources in making sure our employees continue to develop their abilities and skills.

Are your staff and project teams supervised on site?

Yes, all our teams work under supervision of a qualified site manager or team leader.

Has any of your projects ever been rejected by a client or a municipal office or any other formal approval process?
No, we have been fortunate that all our projects have achieved approval, where and when required.
